The University of Rochester women’s volleyball team suffered a tough loss in their regular-season finale, falling to the Buffalo State Bengals in a five-set thriller. Despite a strong comeback effort from Rochester, the Bengals held on to win the decisive fifth set, taking the match 3-2. Rochester’s 18-game non-conference win streak was snapped with this loss, marking their first home defeat of the 2023 season. The team will now turn their focus to the upcoming UAA Championships in Atlanta, where they will face the No. 1-seeded Emory University Eagles.
