Volleyball hosts Allegheny for senior day

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Nov. 4) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team wrapped up the 2023 season by hosting Allegheny for a Saturday Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) match that doubled as the Yellow Jackets’ senior day. The Gators ended Waynesburg’s year by downing the home team 3-0. Allegheny (21-8, 8-2) took the contest by the set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-11. Waynesburg (8-17, 1-9) was led offensively by juniors Madisen Dayton (Ridgeley, W.Va. / Calvary Christian) and Emma Hyatt (Carmichaels, Pa. / Carmichaels), who tied for the team lead with five kills.
