Top-seeded William Smith College women’s soccer team dominated the Liberty League Championship Tournament semifinals with a 7-0 victory over fifth-seeded Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Senior midfielder Ava Ruppersberger shined, scoring her first collegiate hat trick. The Herons carried a 3-0 lead into halftime, and in the second half, they fired in three more goals in just under three minutes. Goalies Megan Wampner and Sierra Skelding made crucial saves, while Kirsten Nelson and Zoe Weeks also contributed in goal for William Smith. The team is set to advance to the championship match for the 21st consecutive season.
