Wolves come through with four-set win at Alaska

FAIRBANKS, Alaska — The Western Oregon volleyball team broke its skid and picked up a 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 25-21, 25-21) victory at Alaska at the Patty Center. After narrowly dropping the first set, the Wolves (9-13 overall, 3-11 GNAC) bounced back to dominate the second set thanks to jumping out to a 15-6 lead and even up the match. In the third set, WOU sprinted to a 6-0 start – capped by a Madison Hornback kill – but eventually fell behind 13-11.
