Women’s Cross Country Ends 2023 Season At NCAA DII East Regional

Hopkinton, N.H. – The University of Bridgeport women’s cross country team took part in the 2023 NCAA DII East Regional Championships Saturday afternoon. They finished in 15th place out of 21 teams. Southern Connecticut State University was crowned this year’s Women DII East Regional Champions, finishing with a team score of 58 points. Bridgeport’s top finisher was Emilia Russell (So., Kingston, U.K.) as she finished the 6k race in a time of 27:12.28 and coming in 94th place.
