Cal Poly’s postseason run came to an end in the Big West Championship as they fell 1-0 to UC Irvine. Despite generating several scoring opportunities, the Mustangs couldn’t find the back of the net. Cal Poly finished the season with a 10-8-3 record and was seeking their fourth Big West tournament title. The team has a bright future ahead with most of their starters set to return, including Big West Defensive Player of the Year Emma Brown. This season, Cal Poly broke a program record for players to record a point and had 15 different players score a goal.
