Led by Ella Sanders’ double-double of 15 kills and 12 digs, Delaware State’s record improved to 15-12 overall and 8-5 in MEAC action. Julia Kneba and Kaulana Kalulu-Sugai also contributed to the team’s attack, while Maria Caratini and Kim Czepukaitis excelled on the defensive end. Delaware State’s impressive performance resulted in a 3-2 victory, with Naz Tuncay providing 25 assists. The Hornets are set to face the University of Maryland Eastern Shore next on November 10.
