Cal State Monterey Bay’s Kane Ritchie scored a late goal to secure a 1-0 victory over Cal State San Bernardino, earning the Otters a spot in the CCAA Men’s Soccer tournament Final Four. This win marks the first time the Otters have advanced this far since joining the CCAA in 2007 and their first postseason victory since 2003. Ritchie’s goal, his fifth in four games, came from a cross by Miguel Guerrero, and secured the Otters’ 12th win of the season, their most at the NCAA level. The next match will be against Cal Poly Pomona in the semifinals.
