Men’s Soccer Falls in GSC Quarterfinal by Penalties to Lee
LIVINGSTON, Ala.- The University of West Alabama men’s soccer team was eliminated on penalties shootout 4-2 after a 110-minute grudge match with Lee inside Tiger Stadium. The Tigers finished the match down a man after a red card was given to West Alabama in the 69th minute. The Flames out shot the Tigers on goal nine to two and 23 to seven overall on the night. Tigers Goalie Lasse Schwieren posted nine saves in the 110 minutes of play before Penalties.
