Strong season ends for the Swamp Foxes
Ashley Ridge proved it could score on anyone this season, but struggled when it came to limiting the production of other teams with a top-tier offense. The Swamp Foxes were eliminated from the Class 5A Football playoffs Friday, Nov. 3 with a 56-13 loss at Sumter in the first round. Ashley Ridge’s scores came on a 52-yard pass from quarterback Trevor Kalisz to senior receiver Derrick Salley and on a short run by junior Jayden Acosta. Kalisz completed 20 passes for 243 yards.
