Tar Heels Await Announcement Of NCAA Bracket

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – With an automatic bid in hand, the North Carolina field hockey team awaits Sunday night’s NCAA Tournament bracket announcement to learn what’s coming next on the schedule. The field will be announced at 10 p.m. on NCAA.com. UNC is the defending NCAA Champion and will be making a record 40th appearance in the field. The Tar Heels are playing for their 11th national championship. The Tar Heels earned themselves a spot in the field by winning the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament on Friday night in Charlottesville, Va., beating Duke 2-0. UNC is 14-3 overall this season.…
