Utah Tech’s men’s soccer team emerged victorious in the quarterfinals of the 2023 WAC Men’s Soccer Tournament, defeating the San Jose State Spartans 1-0. This marked Utah Tech’s first postseason victory since transitioning to Division-I. The team, which was expected to finish last according to the preseason coaches’ poll, surprised everyone with their performance. Austin Wallace’s goal in the 26th minute put Utah Tech ahead. The team will face California Baptist next in the tournament.
