Washington Township’s boys soccer team won the South Jersey Group 4 championship, their first sectional title since 2018, with a 3-0 victory over Toms River North. The team’s success can be attributed to the return of seniors Drew Heil and Ajani Dwyer, who have scored a combined 47 goals and provided 25 assists in 21 games. Heil had two assists while Dwyer scored two goals in the sectional championship game. The Minutemen will now face Princeton in the Group 4 state semifinals.
