Wolverines drop heartbreaker to UNLV in WAC quarterfinals

LAS VEGAS — The Utah Valley men’s soccer team dropped a heartbreaker in the WAC Tournament quarterfinals, falling in overtime to the UNLV Rebels, 3-2. Tom Dobek-Pietrowski bagged a brace, including a goal in the 73rd minute that gave the Wolverines a 2-1 lead, but a hat trick by UNLV’s Nico Lopez saw the Rebels through to the semifinals.
