The Angelo State women’s soccer team secured a spot in the semifinals of the Lone Star Conference (LSC) tournament with a dominant 3-0 win against Texas A&M International. Madison Maxey and Grace Jordan contributed goals for the Rambelles, while Mariah Griffin played a key role with an assist and a goal. The team’s goalkeeper, Amber Lockwood, had three saves and recorded the team’s tenth shutout of the year. The Rambelles will now face St. Mary’s in the LSC tournament semifinals. Coach Travis McCorkle is optimistic about the team’s chances, stating that they are peaking at the right time.
