Buena HS football wraps regular season
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — Buena High School Football has spent months preparing for the regular season for Coach Thomas and the fighting Colts, they have now reached the end.

At least for the regular season that is. In their final regular season game against the Casa Grande Tigers, we saw the Tigers capitalize off two bad calls by the referees which gave the Tigers a 35-31 lead with a couple of minutes to play in the game.

Even though the crucial lass sets Buena at 7-3 for the season, they still managed to make the post season. Thursday night (November 9th) the Colts will travel to Goodyear and play the Desert Edge Scorpions (8-2) in the first round of the 5A playoffs.

Thursday night will feature Buena’s explosive offense and a relentless defense with the return of all starters and 15 seniors vowing to leave it all on the field knowing that it might be their last game as a Buena Colt.

The Buena Colts are in the state playoffs for the first time since 2019. Congrats to Coach Thomas, staff and players for and amazing season.
