Cardinals Fall in Quarterfinal Match to Ferris
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University women’s soccer program hosted their quarterfinal match against the Ferris State Bulldogs Monday afternoon. They lost with a final score of 1-0 with the lone goal coming in the 26th minute. It was a very physical match with action both ways. The Cardinals and Bulldogs tied with 11 shot attempts and four shots on goal each. Lainey Garbarz made her return from injury starting in net and playing all 90 minutes.
