Emporia State’s Jaime Diaz earns USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Region honors

Men’s Cross Country | 11/6/2023 6:25:00 PM November 6, 2023-Emporia State’s Jaime Diaz earned All-Region honors from the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) based on his finish at the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championships. Diaz placed 19th overall at the regional championships in Joplin, Mo. The top 25 finishers earned the All-Region designation. He ran 31:07.80 over the ten kilometer course to lead the Hornet men to a 16th place finish out of 29 teams that scored at the regional. Diaz led Emporia State in every meet this season.
