Florida Southern College women’s soccer team pulled off a stunning upset in the Sunshine State Conference tournament, defeating the #24 ranked Nova Southeastern University 2-1 in overtime. The Mocs matched the Sharks’ first-half goal and secured the win with a penalty kick by Rilee Hasegawa. This is the second year in a row that Florida Southern women’s soccer has reached the SSC semifinals. They will now face Embry-Riddle in the next round.
