Kovacs Named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. – Austin College volleyball player Laynie Kovacs has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her outstanding play during the team’s final weekend of the 2023 season, the league office has announed. Kovacs, a freshman libero from McKinney, helped the ‘Roos finish the season strong, going 2-1 over their final three matches of the season.
