PAC Recognizes Malnar as Men’s Swimmer of the Week

PAC Release NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced Monday that Allegheny College junior Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was tabbed PAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week. Malnar finished among the top three in all three events he swam in against Division II PennWest Edinboro on Saturday. It marks the first time the third-year swimmer has received a weekly award in his Allegheny career. In the 200-yard freestyle, Malnar logged a season-best time of 1:50.84 en route to a runner-up performance. He was only 79-hundredths of a second behind the race winner from Edinboro.
