Panthers extend winning streak

After losing its first three games of the season, Pinewood Prep won its next eight to sweep its region and advance to the second round of the SCISA 3A Football playoffs. The Panthers defeated First Baptist School 49-7 Friday, Nov. 3, at Knight Family Field in the opening round of the playoffs. Pinewood scored 21 points in both the first and second quarters to take a 42-7 lead and cruise to victory to improve to 8-3 on the season.
