W&L Women’s Soccer selected to NCAA Tournament, traveling to NYU

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced its 2023 Women’s Soccer Championship field on Monday afternoon, and Washington and Lee earned an at-large selection. The Generals (13-3-4) will travel to New York University for the first weekend of NCAA Tournament play, and will face-off against Carnegie Mellon (11-0-6) on Friday in the first round. NYU (12-2-2) will play Southern Virginia (13-5-1) in the other first round matchup on Friday, with the two winning teams playing for a spot in the Round of 16 on Saturday.
