Wodka, Barilla earn Liberty League praise

Two members of the William Smith College field hockey team were recognized by the Liberty League after the Herons won their second straight Liberty League title this past weekend. Graduate student Mackenzie Wodka was named the conference’s Offensive Performer of the Week while graduate student Kate Barilla was named the Defensive Performer of the Week. Wodka earned her first Liberty League recognition of the season after recording the lone goal in a 1-0 win over nationally-ranked Ithaca in Sunday’s conference title game.
