The Rockhurst women’s soccer season ended Sunday afternoon after falling to McKendree, 1-0, in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament in Lebanon, Illinois The Bearcats broke the scoreless tie in the 74th minute on a shot from six yards out by Katie Spotanski. McKendree outshot Rockhurst, 12-8. The Hawks posted four shots in first half and four shots in the second half. Anna Lantz and Jacie Tottleben each posted two shots and one shot on goal for Rockhurst. RU goalkeeper Taylor James collected seven saves. The Hawks finish the season with an 8-6-4 record.
