Women’s Soccer Earns No. 4 Seed, Hosts Tennessee in First Round of NCAA Championship

By: Hayley Schletker, Xavier Athletic Communications CINCINNATI – No. 17 Xavier women’s soccer will make a third-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning a No. 4 seed and the opportunity to host Tennessee at Corcoran Field this weekend, day and time to be announced. Xavier earned an at-large bid after going 14-3-4 overall and 6-0-4 in BIG EAST play to earn a share of the conference’s regular season championship. The Musketeers advanced to the BIG EAST Tournament title match, finishing runners-up. The at-large bid is the third in program history, and marks the Musketeers’ sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament.…
