Almoznino Grabs NE10 All-Rookie Honors Following Fall Season

FULL NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE MANSFIELD, Mass. – After wrapping up the season with a 6-7-2 overall record and a 2-6-2 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference, the New Haven men’s soccer team picked up a postseason honor on Tuesday as announced by the league office with freshman Saar Almoznino (Jerusalem, Israel/Hebrew Gymnasium) earning All-Rookie distinction. Almoznino played in 13 games on the back line as a rookie, helping lead the Blue and Gold to a 2.07 goals against average on the year.
