Junior Alexandra Barcenas of Downers Grove South High School achieved a major milestone in her volleyball career by earning her 1,000th career setting assist. Barcenas, who has been playing volleyball for 11 years, has been a varsity starter for three years and had been eagerly waiting to reach this milestone. Surrounded by her teammates and decorated gym, Barcenas felt proud and accomplished.
