Macalester men’s soccer players receive MIAC awards

Macalester men’s soccer team had five players recognized with MIAC awards. First-year midfielder Kasdan Blattman, sophomore defender Nick Kent, and junior forward Hans Haenicke were named All-MIAC, while first-year midfielder Elijah Edelman and junior midfielder Ian Staresinic were named All-MIAC Honorable Mention. Blattman and Staresinic were also named to the All-Playoff team. Blattman had an impressive debut season with four goals and three assists, while Kent contributed two goals and played over 1600 minutes.
