Mason Announces Leadership Change in Women’s Soccer Program

Fairfax, Va. — George Mason Athletics today announced a leadership change regarding Manya Puppione as its head women’s soccer coach. Puppione was named George Mason’s head coach in July 2021 and finished with an overall record of 7-30-8 during her time at Mason. “Manya has served as our head coach for the past three seasons and we thank her for her contributions to our program,’ said Marvin Lewis, Assistant Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. “We wish her the best in the next chapter of her coaching career.” A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
