Piedmont Lions suffered a heartbreak defeat in the CCS quarterfinal match against Berea, losing 3-2 inside Cave Arena. Despite an impressive comeback in the first set, Piedmont couldn’t maintain the momentum after taking a 2-0 lead. Jenna Ash stood out with 14 kills, including seven in the first set. Katie Hubbard also performed well with 14 kills, while Kaylee Ashcraft added 11. Taylor Herrmann ended her career on a high note with 32 digs in the game.
