Plattsburgh State women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-0 defeat against SUNY Geneseo in the first round of the SUNYAC Tournament. Despite the loss, senior libero Payton Zophy set program records in digs per set, finishing the season with 5.57, and in her career with 4.61. Zophy surpassed the previous single-season record of 4.99 set in 2003 and the career record of 4.38 set from 2016-17. Plattsburgh State ends the season with a 12-13 record, while Geneseo advances to the semifinals to face SUNY New Paltz with a 13-13 record.
