Women’s Fencing Continues Unbeaten Streak, Men’s Fencing Opens Season at Drew Rangers Fall Invitational

By: David Patalano MADISON, N.J.— The LIU men’s and women’s fencing team competed in the Drew Rangers Fall Invitational on Sunday. The women’s team continued to stay absolutely on fire, once again sweeping the field (6-0) and improving their record to 11-0. The sweep including an impressive 25-2 victory over Yeshiva as well as 20-7 victories over Cleveland State and FDU. Chejsa-Kaili Seck and Nevaeh Ulibarri were star sabres once again, combining for a 27-4 record. Costanza Greggi was the best epée during the meet, taking a home a 9-3 record.
