10 best NBA players to ever come out of the Houston area

10. Gerald Green, SG/SF (Houston)

Green jumped straight from Gulf Shores Academy to the NBA. The 6-foot-6 swingman was taken by the Boston Celtics as a first-rounder in the 2005 NBA Draft. He would average almost 10 points per game in his 12-year NBA career. Green played his final two seasons with the Houston Rockets.
