7 Otterbein Cardinals Earn OAC Honors in Men’s Soccer, Casey Thompson Named Goalkeeper of the Year

Seven Cardinals players in men’s soccer have earned recognition in the 2023 All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Team. Among the seven players, three received special awards. Senior Casey Thompson became the first Cardinal in program history to win Goalkeeper of the Year, senior Mark Wischmeyer won Defender of the Year, and newcomer Andrew Rudesill received Co-Freshman of the Year. The Cardinals finished the season with a 12-4-3 record and secured an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.
