Sun Prairie East quarterback, Drew Kavanaugh, had to wait for his turn behind Division I recruit Jerry Kaminski. Now, in his senior year, Kavanaugh has emerged as one of the best quarterbacks in the state. With 36 passing touchdowns and over 2,000 yards passing this season, Kavanaugh has led his team to the state semifinals. He hopes to take his team to the championship game and fulfill his dream of playing on Camp Randall Stadium with his father, Chad Kavanaugh, who is the team’s offensive coordinator.
