Early woes plague Panthers in HCAC Tournament action

HANOVER, Ind. -The Panthers (20-8 overall) bowed out of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday evening, falling to Rose-Hulman 3-1 (22-25, 25-12, 29-31, 17-25). Hanover saw three athletes finish with double-digit kills in sophomore Elliot Mays (Jeffersonville, Ind.), sophomore Maddie Robertson (Mitchell, Ind.), and freshman Abbey McCoy (Indianapolis, Ind.). Senior Casey Dunn (Fort Thomas, Ky.) added 36 digs. Rose-Hulman had Hanover scrambling from the opening set as they used a small rally to claim the 9-3 advantage.
