Falcons drop 3-0 sweep to Shaw

RALEIGH, NC –The Saint Augustine’s volleyball team lost to the Shaw Bears in straight sets (19-25, 20-25, 19-25) Wednesday at home at Emery Gymnasium. The loss dropped Saint Augustine’s’ record to 11-12 overall and 11-6 in CIAA action. Siayera Boone finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Falcons offense. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Nayara Pereira had 14 and Sofia Sanchez had 11. From the front row, Madison Jones contributed five blocks.
