Defensive Battle Ends in Scoreless Tie for Sunbirds and Penguins

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – A defensive battle ended in a scoreless 0-0 tie for the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds and the Dominican University Penguins on Thursday afternoon at Kennelly Field. The Penguins came out strong offensively early recording two shots in the first five minutes of play. The first offensive burst for the Sunbirds came from Madilyn Hernandez who recorded two shots in the 14th and 19th minute but both were block by Dominican defenders.
