Fondren named to SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Mississippi University for Women sophomore volleyball player Jamya Fondren (Oxford, Miss./Regents School of Oxford) has been named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) All-Sportsmanship Team, it was announced today by the league office. Fondren was a newcomer to the Owls in 2023, after playing one season at Pearl River Community College. “I am so excited for Jamya being selected for the All-Sportsmanship team for this season,” MUW Head Coach Halee Hensley said. “She has done nothing but show true sportsmanship since day one.
