No. 3 Women’s Volleyball Edged at No. 2 Plymouth State in LEC Championship Semifinals

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – After knocking off archrival Eastern Connecticut State University in the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, the third-seeded Western Connecticut State University women’s volleyball team was edged at second-seeded Plymouth State, 3- 1 (25-12, 25-20, 27-29, 25-11) in the Little East Conference Championship Tournament semifinals on Thursday night. Wolves graduate student middle hitter Taylor Rohan (Yonkers, N.Y.) and rookie outside hitter Julia Stoliker (Red Hook, N.Y.) tallied a team-high of 13 kills apiece, while senior setter Olivia Monteleone (Cold Spring, N.Y.) notched a match-high 31 assists.
