NEWTOWN, Pa. – Although the 2023 Widener women’s soccer season has ended, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced that seven Widener student-athletes have been selected to the All-Conference teams. Goalkeeper Samantha Coon made the All-MAC First Team. Coon was an Honorable Mention last season. The Mount Laurel, N.J. native saw over 1100 minutes in goal for the Pride in 2023. She made 84 saves in 200 shots faced and only allowed 14 goals. Coon recorded seven shutouts and posted a 4-5-4 record. In 2023, she became Widener’s all-time leader in career shutouts.
