Tietz and Durant Make NSIC All-Conference Teams
MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State volleyball had two players make NSIC All-Conference Teams. Senior right side hitter Sophie Tietz made the All-Conference First Team and junior middle blocker Kiya Durant earned All-Conference Second Team honors. Tietz and Durant are the first All-Conference players from Minnesota State since Morgan Olson and Mara Quam in 2019. Tietz is a senior right side hitter from Watertown, S.D. She has recorded a team-high 222 kills so far this season with a hitting percentage of .281. She had a career-best 21 kills against UMary, putting her career total at 518.
