Women’s Soccer Falls to Montevallo 3-2 in GSC Semis

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.- The University of West Alabama women’s soccer team was defeated by the University of Montevallo in a 3-2 shootout in the GSC Semifinals at John Hunt Park in Huntsville. Montevallo got on the board early, with a goal from Angelina Rivas to give the Falcons the early advantage. The Tigers Venla Makela answered in the 33rd minute with her own chip shot off an assist Paige Laidler, taking a 1-1 tie into the half.
