Gorillas Sweep Past Bearcats Friday, 3-0

PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory over Northwest Missouri State University Friday (Nov. 10) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court. The Gorillas defeated the Bearcats 27-25, 25-15, 25-13. Ivy Fink led the Gorillas with a match-high 17 kills. She added 11 digs for a double-double in the contest. Janae Thurston contributed 13 kills, while Jadyn Jackson finished with 35 assists and 15 digs. Josie McCroskey added a match high 21 digs from her libero position. Pitt State (10-18, 5-14 MIAA) will close out regular season play by hosting Missouri Western State University at 6 p.m.…
