Hassman And Godish Qualify For NCAA Championship At Regional Meet

BRONX, N.Y. — Junior Benjamin Godish finished seventh in the men’s race and senior Abigail Hassman finished fourth in the women’s race as both placed high enough at the NCAA Northeast Cross Country Regionals Friday at Van Cortlandt Park to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships. Hassman’s qualification makes her the first Northeastern woman to ever earn a spot at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, while Godish follows the steps of Alexander Korczynski, who qualified for the Championship individually last season.
