Multiple Purple Eagles Set PR’S; York Breaks 10k Record
Bronx, N.Y.—The Niagara cross country teams closed out the 2023 season on Friday as both teams competed in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships. The Niagara men’s team finished 34th while the women’s team did not generate a team score as just three Purple Eagles competed. Men’s Recap Braden York entered the 10k race holding every possible Niagara cross county record with the exception of the 10k record, he had the fourth fastest time in program history after running a 33:11 at last years NCAA Regionals.
