W&L Women’s Soccer NCAA Opening Weekend Preview

LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee women’s soccer team will face-off against No. 3 Carnegie Mellon in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium in Newark, N.J., on Friday at 3:30 pm in the teams’ fourth all-time matchup against each other. W&L is 13-3-4 overall this season and earned an at-large qualification into the Division III Championship after falling to Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC championship game on Sunday.
