New York, N.Y.- For the second consecutive season, the Hunter College Hawks claimed victory as women’s volleyball champions. They triumphed over John Jay in four sets (25-10, 25-15, 17-25, 25-20) during the 2023 CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Championship held at the Sportsplex on Friday evening. This win secured the Hawks the league’s automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship. The Hawks showcased a dominant performance, securing their eighth championship in nine seasons and the program’s 27th overall, the most in conference history.
