Kerchner Earns All-Region Honors, Barely Misses Cut For Nationals At DIII Metro Region Championships

(Nov. 11, 2023) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women’s cross country program saw junior Katherine Kerchner (Reading, Pa.) earn All-Region honors for the second-straight season, on Saturday morning at the NCAA DIII Metro Regional Championship Meet at DREAM Park. Kerchner narrowly missed out on a berth to Nationals, as she finished in 12th place, just two spots shy of the cut line.
